Abstract

A coplanar tri-polarized decoupled antenna is proposed for MIMO systems. Differential feeding method is employed to obtain a coplanar tri-polarized performance based on the previous six-port decoupled antennas. This approach can modify the tilting radiation patterns and suppress the cross-polarization levels. This antenna obtains a measured 20-dB isolation bandwidth of 15.1%. Moreover, the simulation cross polarized level is less than -30 dB at 3.5 GHz.
